In part one Len Metcalf explored how ‘photographic style’ is something that a critic or viewer sees in the work of someone else.

"We talked about how if you were to chase a style, you would become predictable, repetitive and stale. And how by defining your own style or even seeking a definitive style would actually become a creative block. In this next article, we will look at the things you can concentrate on that help you become a stronger photographer and that will inevitably give you a stronger style that is visible to others."

Part 2 is all about Voice.

"Voice is a beautiful metaphor about what you point your camera at, what you say with your work and how you say it through the visual language of composition. Photography teachers and mentors will ask you over and over, what is it that you are trying to say with your work?"

So, what are you trying to say with your photography and could Len help you on your way?
