"When I travel to Antarctica, I don’t want the voyage to end. I especially like the South Georgia voyages, not only because they include the amazing South Georgia, but because they are longer.
"Now, add in my love of small Antarctic islands (see the cover photo) and you’ll understand how excited I am to be on the South Georgia & Antarctic Odyssey featuring the South Sandwich Islands voyage. It’s a 24 day voyage and it includes the extremely remote and rarely visited South Sandwich Island.
"Normally expedition ships take a direct line between Elephant Island and South Georgia, much like Shackleton and Worsley did over 100 years ago, but with a little more time, this voyage will spend a few days scouting around the South Sandwich Islands - and I can’t wait!"
"The voyage visits many of the locations seen in the Tales By Light television episode currently showing on Netflix which features me as the photographer (that was a fun job).
"Whether you’re travelling on your own or with a friend or partner, and whether your friend or partner is a keen photographer or not, you will get a lot out of both the voyage and my photographic tuition. All are welcome."
