Fujifilm’s inaugural GFX Challenge Grant Award Program has landed for 2025 and once again the global photography brand is supporting budding content creators across the country to make their dreams a reality.
The annual challenge was launched four years ago and aims to give emerging creative talent the support they need to create world leading photography and videography projects.
Nearly $150,000 AUD in grants is up for grabs this year, with five global recipients each receiving over $15,000 AUD ($10,000 USD), and ten regional winners awarded more than $7,000 AUD ($5,000 USD) each. To help shine a spotlight on their work, all winning projects will be featured in a dedicated exhibition and showcased on fujifilm-x.com.
Previous local entrant and Oceania finalist, Yvette Scott, went on to shoot Fujifilm’s campaign photography for the Fujifilm X-E5 camera launched earlier this month, demonstrating the company’s commitment to fostering local opportunities that arise from the global challenge.
