A young family enjoying a snack in Uganda! Photo by Mehmet Ozbalci.
I've just been sorting out our final travel arrangements for Uganda - and I'm looking forward to it! Lots of different subjects to photograph and the purpose of this little article is to encourage another one or two photographers to join us. Our tour logistics leader says there's still time to organise things in Uganda if you have the time and the interest - the dates are 2 - 13 July 2024.
You can read all about it on the website - click the link here: https://www.betterphotography.com/phototours/workshops/uganda24-detail.
So, what are we going to photograph? Gorillas for sure and this is one of the main reasons for Uganda being on people's itinerary.
However, in addition to the wildlife opportunities, we will add in lots of cultural activities, although I think the bananas in Mehmet's market photo below look a little unripe for my tastes.
And of course there are those Ankole cows with their distinctive horns. I'm looking forward to seeing what I might find!
